About Carpet Defenders

Carpet Defenders started in 2022, when I decided there was a better way to clean carpets and upholstery than the harsh chemical treatments a lot of the trade was still using. I wanted something safe enough for families, kids and pets, and figured plenty of other households wanted the same thing.

I spent eight years building the business in Birmingham, covering everything from Quinton and South Birmingham out to Halesowen, Dudley, Solihull and the wider West Midlands. Every job was done personally, start to finish, no subcontractors, nobody you hadn't met turning up at your door.

Every carpet, rug and sofa I clean uses eco-friendly, child- and pet-safe solutions. No harsh chemical smell, no waiting days for a room to dry out and be usable again. It sounds like a small thing until you've got a toddler crawling on the floor an hour after I've left.

After eight years in Birmingham, I moved Carpet Defenders back to Hertfordshire. I'm based in Potters Bar, covering Hertfordshire and North London including Watford, St Albans, Enfield, Barnet and the surrounding towns. Same approach, same fixed price agreed upfront, new patch.
