Rugs need a different kind of care to fitted carpet. Fringing, natural fibres and dyes that can run all call for a gentler approach, and a rug cleaned the wrong way can shrink, fade or lose its shape.
Damian and Kay check the rug’s material and construction before starting, whether it’s wool, a synthetic pile or something more delicate, and choose a method to suit it. Stains are treated individually rather than blasted with the same solution used across the rest of the rug.
Most household rugs are cleaned on-site alongside a carpet or upholstery booking, so there’s no need to arrange a separate visit if other rooms are being done at the same time. Larger or more delicate rugs may need collecting and returning once cleaned.
Pricing depends on the rug’s size and material. Call with its approximate dimensions and what it’s made from for an accurate quote.
