Leather needs a different approach to fabric. Cleaning it the wrong way, or using a fabric steam clean on it, can dry the leather out and lead to cracking over time. Damian cleans leather sofas and armchairs with products made specifically for leather, removing dirt, body oils and everyday grime from the surface, then applies a conditioner to keep the leather supple.
This works on most leather types found in UK homes, including bonded and bicast leather as well as full-grain. Any existing scuffs or worn patches are pointed out before starting, since a clean won’t repair damage that’s already there, only stop it getting worse.
A single leather armchair usually costs from £50, with a three-seater leather sofa typically £70 to £100. Larger corner suites are quoted individually based on size. Most leather cleans take under an hour and the sofa is usable again straight away, no drying time to wait out.
