Strictly necessary storage
The cookie-consent local storage item is not a tracking cookie. It only records your Analytics/Advertising choices and does not identify you personally. Because it's needed to run the banner itself, it's set regardless of your choice.
Analytics cookies
Google Analytics' underlying tag loads on every visit (this is required for Google's Consent Mode to work correctly, and lets Google measure aggregate, non-identifying trends even for visitors who don't accept). What changes based on your choice is what it's allowed to do: until you accept the Analytics category in the banner, no _ga cookie is set and no data that could identify you or your visit is recorded. If you decline, or leave the banner without a choice, your visit is not tracked.
Advertising cookies
We run Google Ads campaigns and use Google's tag to measure whether an ad click led to an enquiry or phone call. The same tag mentioned above also handles this, and works the same way: it loads on every visit, but until you accept the Advertising category in the banner, no advertising cookie is set and nothing that could identify you or link your visit to an ad click is recorded. Google may still receive an anonymous, cookieless signal for aggregate campaign measurement even when you decline, in line with Google's own Consent Mode; see Google's privacy policy for how it handles this.
Other services on this site
Enquiry forms on this site submit directly to our website provider's enquiry-processing system; this does not set any cookies in your browser.
Changing your choice
You can accept or decline Analytics and Advertising cookies independently, at any time. Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice. Clearing your browser's local storage has the same effect: the banner will show again on your next visit.
