These terms apply whenever you book a carpet, rug or upholstery cleaning job with Carpet Defenders, whether by phone or through the quote form on this website. By booking a job, you agree to them.

Website use

This website and its content, including text, photos and the Carpet Defenders name and logo, belongs to Carpet Defenders. You're welcome to browse and share it, but please don't copy or reuse the content elsewhere without asking first. We've made a reasonable effort to keep the information on this site accurate, but we can't guarantee it's error-free or uninterrupted at all times.

Quotes and estimates

Quotes given over the phone are based on the rooms, furniture and general condition you describe to us, and are estimates until we see the job in person. We'll confirm the final price on arrival, before starting any work, if what we find differs from what was described. A quote is normally valid for 30 days from the date it's given.

Booking and cancellation

We'll agree a date and rough time window with you when you book. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice where you can, so we can offer that slot to another customer. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may mean we ask for payment upfront on future bookings.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work, once you're happy with the result. We'll confirm accepted payment methods when you book.

Guarantees

Not every stain can be fully removed, particularly old, set-in marks or dye transfer, and we'll tell you honestly before starting if we think a stain is unlikely to lift completely. If you're not happy with the standard of a clean, let us know within 48 hours of the job and we'll come back to look at it.

Liability

We take reasonable care to protect your home and belongings while we work, including moving furniture carefully and using dust sheets where needed. We're not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or fading that becomes more visible once dirt is removed, or for items left in or under furniture that isn't cleared before we arrive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
